1. Overview of the Dealer Portal
Your dealer portal is the control centre of your website. From here, you can:
- Add and manage vehicles
- Update your stock listings
- Edit business details and opening hours
- Control website settings
- Manage website pages and content
- Improve your online presence (Google, social media, reviews)
- View enquiries, invoices, and contacts
Everything is organised in a simple left-hand menu for quick access.

2. Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a quick overview of your account and stock.
From the Dashboard you can:
- Add a new vehicle
- View and manage existing vehicles
- See vehicle statistics (active listings, vehicles on offer, total stock)
- Check recent activity
This page is designed to save you time by giving quick access to the most-used features.

3. Adding a Vehicle
3.1 Add Vehicle Using Registration Lookup (Recommended)
The fastest way to add a vehicle is by using the Vehicle Registration Lookup (VRL).
Steps:
- Click Vehicles → Add New Vehicle
- Enter the UK vehicle registration number
- Click Retrieve Data
- The system will automatically fill in key vehicle details
This saves time and reduces errors when entering vehicle information.

3.2 Add Vehicle Manually
If registration lookup is not available, you can add vehicle details manually.
You can enter:
- Manufacturer and model
- Variant and body type
- Engine size and fuel type
- Transmission
- Colour and doors
- Mileage and price
- Year registered and previous owners
Once completed, save the vehicle and move to the photos section.

3.3 Adding Photos and Media
High-quality photos help vehicles sell faster.
You can:
- Upload multiple vehicle images
- Reorder photos
- Set a main image
- Add a YouTube video (optional)

4. My Vehicles – Managing Your Stock
The My Vehicles section allows you to manage all your stock in one place.
From here you can:
- View all vehicles
- Edit vehicle details
- Change prices
- Mark vehicles as on offer or featured
- Activate or deactivate listings
- Preview the live vehicle advert
This section keeps your stock organised and always up to date.

5. Business Details
Your Business Details appear across your website and are important for customer trust and SEO.
You can edit:
- Business name
- Address
- Phone numbers
- Email address
- Company description
Keeping this information accurate ensures customers can easily contact you.

6. Opening Hours
The Opening Hours section allows you to set when your business is open.
You can:
- Set weekday opening hours
- Add weekend hours
- Mark days as closed
These hours are displayed clearly on your website for customers.

7. Website Settings
Website Settings allow you to customise how your site behaves.
Key options include:
- Stock page settings
- Default vehicle image
